Who is Q? And what exactly, is the ‘Storm Conspiracy’? For those answers we must jump down a rabbit hole called 4 Chan. So what exactly is 4 Chan? 4 Chan is an image board launched in 2003 modeled after Japanese image boards, users post anonymously and you can find anything from meme images to political philosophy. Known for years as a seedier part of the internet, 4 Chan is known by some as the birthplace of many internet memes and most notably the staging ground of the hacker collective known as Anonymous. 4 Chan has a controversial history with many accusations of threats of violence, child pornography and even possible snuff photography. The Mos Eisley of the Internet, you can find almost anything on 4 Chan. So then, who is Q? And how do they relate to 4 Chan?
Who is Q?
In October of 2017 a user known only as Q on the 4 Chan board /pol/ (A board dedicated to political posts) started a thread ominously named ‘The Calm Before the Storm’ in this thread Q claims to be a high level government employee in the US Dept of Energy, also claiming to have Top Secret-Level information on Donald Trump, The GOP and Democrats and the supposed ‘Deep State’ machinations of the government. Q claims to not want to risk exposure and so they leave ‘breadcrumbs’ for their followers, ostensibly so that their followers can see the “truth” amid the “fake news” propagating from the mainstream. Using cryptic phrases Q lets their followers craft their own theories about the ‘Storm”.
The Storm Conspiracy
So, what is this conspiracy? So far it’s been pieced together that the Mueller investigation isn’t actually targeting Donald Trump but is secretly after Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, John Podesta, and other liberal villains. Trump in this case is actually playing a part, and is there to distract us from this investigation.
Of course Q doesn’t come right out and say this; it’s left to us to decipher it from their ‘Mr Robotesque’ hints. According to Q Trump is a genius intellect hero that’s been taking down liberal pedophile rings, the Deep State and Jewish cabals working behind the scenes to oppress America. And to their followers this conspiracy is only bolstered by every news item discussing a pedophiles or human traffickers capture.
What is the Truth?
So, is there truth to Q and their coming storm? Is the Deep State really run by Globalist Jewish Pedophiles? Well, you’ll notice that Jew comes up a lot among Q’s followers. In fact there are a lot of worrying signs from Q’s followers that these conspiracy theorists are a little bit more that idle internet posters. They speak often of the ‘Red Pill’, a term coined from the Wachowski Sisters film The Matrix, which is often used online by conspiracy theorists and anti-feminists to speak of a “great awakening” .
Q speaks of following the “White Rabbit” another term borrowed from pop culture that’s been used by their followers to mean everything from Playboy’s Hugh Heffner to an artist in New Orleans named Podesta (no relation) who uses bunny suited manniquins in his art. Q Anon and these breadcrumbs have become a hodgepodge of old and new conspiracy theories going as far back as the 50’s, with an interesting theory that IBM and the seven other computer manufacturers at the time developed super computers with advanced artificial intelligence that are now secretly running the world. And the creepy OPERATION : MOCKINGBIRD a supposed CIA plot in the 50’s to take over the media. The CIA is apparently the bad guy and works for the ‘Deep State’ and any news article or celebrity that speaks out about Trump is part of this operation .
The Storm Conspiracy weaves together plot elements from many different conspiracies. Featuring the Illuminati, Freemasons and of course our Jewish Cabal. Side note, ever notice how conspiracy theories always have a tinge of antisemitism?
Anyone that can think critically should be able to see through this. The story is intriguing and would make great fiction, because it is. There is no proof that IBM and ‘the Seven Dwarfs’ in the 50’s created artificially intelligent super computers with world controlling aspirations. In fact the technology of the day would make such a thing impossible, and it would even be terribly difficult to do anything like that today. Any computer engineer can tell you this, though again, it makes for good fiction.
Operation Mockingbird is pseudo-factual, in the way that a Hollywood movie “Based on true events” is factual. In the 70’s there was a ‘Project Mockingbird’ as detailed in a declassified report in 2007 referred to as ‘the Family Jewels’ which was a CIA operation wiretapping journalists who were suspected of disseminating information on top secret operations in their articles. There is more to this story but not the ‘Deep State’ bogeymen of Q’s follower’s claims. What we have here is an internet phenomenon custom built to fuel conspiracy theorists. Q will post a cryptic message leading their followers to guess and theorize as to the meaning, and as we humans are built to recognize patterns they do find those threads and weave this amazing narrative. But as fun as it may be to follow, it’s not real; there is no proof, no evidence. Donald Trump, for all of his bluster does not come across as a mastermind, neither for that matter do the Clintons or Obamas. And, while we won’t broach the topic on this post it is highly unlikely that a Jewish Cabal, Freemason Illuminati is secretly running the world. In fact, if Trump is opposed to them and they are in power how did he get elected? The whole story falls apart with the application of common sense. Or are we here at The Uninformed also part of ‘OPERATION: MOCKINGBIRD”? As always dear reader, stay skeptical.
